This historic Home is now the Mayor of Boston's Official Residence, and is managed by the City of Boston.

PAF Architects worked with The City of Boston, to develop a Master Preservation Plan  to understand it's many preservation issues.  Once  the Master Preservation Plan was completed we were asked to direct and oversee a number of structural repairs. The structrurl repairs included repairing a filed truss in the attic and roof system. Also requiring repair was the the flight of a winding staircase rising from the first floor to the second floor. In both instances steel reinforcing was needed to bolster the wood framed systems.

Faneuil Hall is one of the nations most important historic structures. It continues to house a market, and visitors center for the National Parks Service, as well as a grand meeting hall and a museum upstairs.

PAF Architects worked with The City of Boston, to provide an exterior envelope restoration. This work included masonry repair with repointing , Elastomeric coating replacement for some of its brownstone elements, and a large half round window replacement on it's front facade. 

Sensitivity was required when removign the elastometic coating and also when reflashing the brownstone joints and when tooling in the line putty mortar.
